BIOGRAPHY

Farahdiana Wan Yunus obtained her PhD in Microengineering and Nanoelectronics from the National University of Malaysia in 2021, Master of Science in Photonics and Device Microfabrication from University of Strathclyde, UK in 2015 and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Physics from University Technology MARA (UiTM), Malaysia in 2014. She pursued her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institute for Material Science (NIMS), Japan and now working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Xiamen University Malaysia. Her research focuses on MEMS device fabrications and applications.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

· MEMS Fabrication: MEMS fabrications processes; (photolithography, wet etching, deposition of electrodes, lift off processes, electrochemical etching: silicon nanopores (< 50 nm), characterization of silicon membranes: SEM and particle sizer analysis). · MEMS Applications: Cell separation using dielectrophoresis, silicon membranes for biological samples, polymer coating on silicon for biocompatibility, humidity sensors for organic compounds selectivity.
