Description: Our project is a plant pest monitoring system targeting the current lack of accuracy in monitoring plant pests and diseases. The strength of the project is multi-modal fusion, which combines extracted audio features with visual features obtained from images to improve the accuracy of plant pest monitoring. It can provide data-driven insight and analysis for farmers, and experimental and observational support for researchers. The project targets mainly high economic value crops. Target customers include large-scale growers, vertical farms, greenhouse farms, and families growing precious plants.
